well, my schedule is certainly becoming more and more hectic again. life is about to take on a new spring, at least for me. let me see, there are the usual classes and and the weight of the research proposal/paper bearing at the back of my mind. there’s the endless list of financial needs back home. then there is salzburg-vienna-prague waiting come 5th of may. there’s this concert to attend to after prague (which, i have not yet fully decided whether i should go or not). everthing else seems to add up…
but i feel myself being drawn away…
probably, the clouds are trying to draw my mind away again. la dolce vita is making my head spin and it’s trying to run away with my mind, inviting it to stay up there in the clouds. the question really is, can i manage to make my feet stay on the ground.
oh well, there are piles of work waiting for me to do which ought to keep me grounded. let me see, noli’s email asking me to comment on his writing - must do. noli’s entry to the palanca writing contest - copy is in transit and comment on it - also must do. wait… he’s giving me prior right to read and comment? hmmm… baaaaadddd!!! i’m not objective. he knows i derive so much amusement from his writings. hmmmm…. will see.
A new love affair is in the offing… hehehe… i am beginning to fall in love with CUL, PICA and EndNote 5.0. Beautiful systems, beautiful tools. i am absolutely drooling to toy with these systems. how come i only found them now, i don’t know. i have no choice but to love them because i know they have this promise of a better, if not an easier and more efficient life for me when i do my research paper. and oh, don’t forget Koninklijke, the Royal Library. must have a date with it at least one day a week. beautiful library! oh, at least i don’t have to miss the bedan library any more…
new hobby in the offing too? must arrange with avi another billiard night. was fun too, last saturday nite with dina, avi, rommel and adrian. hmmm… biking? on spring? yep! must have that too at least twice a week. must cram doing the laundry and cleaning up my room in between.
hehe, the list is getting long. i see! the buds are springing, how can i complain? oh well, it’s a happy, happy, happy spring for me. spring has sprung!
