travel day

12:25 noon.
travel day plays softly in the background. i feel like i am being transported in time. the sweet echoes of the violin bounces along the walls and the glasses of our room. sweet enough to put me in the mood to write down some of my thoughts.
like sorry… tracy chapman now has replaced angus lyon. joined in by pavarotti as they go through the passionate apologies. so you can say, "baby, can i hold you tonight? baby, if i told you the right words at the right time you’ll be mine".
"yo ti amo." the words are now lost to me. and words don’t come easily as chapman’s does.
sometimes they do. sometimes they don’t.
but you know what’s the best thing that happened to me this morning? i woke up, i went down the beach. i made four rounds of brisk walking along the pier and my heart was pounding. i can feel every fibre of my being throbbing with blood and i thought i was going to pop into the sheer ecstasy of being alive. it took fifteen minutes of gradual slowing down in my walking to help me put myself under control. then i had the pleasure of finally noticing my surroundings again and the waters were peacefully calm. under my jacket, i was sweating and hot while the cold blast of air was hitting my legs, calming my nerves.
i knew i was going to have a good day today. i went back to the house for breakfast cooked by rommel. and now lightning crashes in the room as live pours its heart out.
now, it’s time to focus. my mind has had its chance to wander about. i have already given full rein to my body this morning. life cannot go better than this. i am watching rina running fast by from my window and i know, she too, will experience the same sense of freedom i did earlier as she runs.
the angel touches her eyes, pale blue colored light! all my feeling is coming back again… like the rolling thunder chasing the wind…
