warp zone

The first month is always the hardest and most difficult…
Leaving behind a place you have been used to living in for the past fifteen months can fill you up with a lot of mixed feelings. You miss it terribly and you feel trapped where you wake up in the morning and find yourself in what used to be home.
You wonder, was it the place that you miss or simply the people there who made the place seemed so special.
Then you find yourself thinking that you are in between warped worlds, where you are home with your family but knowing it is no longer completely home to you because you long for the place which, in the span of fifteen months, became home to you too because of the people you know will take a long time for you to see them again.
It is at this moment that you feel at a loss and somehow incapable, knowing that you will always be looking for those familiar faces and know it is not the same without them there.
You tell yourself it is better to move on and confront whatever lies ahead of you. But you can’t help yourself from looking at all those grinning faces in your collection of memories captured in the camera and think how wonderful those days when you were with them.
Nothing is more bittersweet than this state of being caught up in the warp zone. I miss them terribly…
