rumbling thoughts

Life is a curiosity made up of stone woes. We make it easy. We make it fast. Still we never know how long or where we can last. Trains keep our thoughts behind inside its locked shells. It filters out the smoke that gets on our way and throws it with the wind. With one last look, we say goodbye to the grass and live to embrace the smell of everything in our paths. Midnight comes to us as easily as daybreak. We grope and struggle thinking that we surely know what we want only to find out that life can pull out a lot of surprises. We see beyond and we see what is in front of us. Sometimes we do not see anything at all and simply gaze out filled with inspiration to do the things we must. Sometimes we also trap ourselves within our ambitions only to discover these are not what we wanted at all. Rocks remain as they are until they are broken down to bits and pieces while sands are blown away as dust that create our own rivulets of disasters. Minds bend with the rustling of leaves but we make sure that we do what we must will. Nature becomes beyond us as the tinkling sound of pure water becomes an elusive dream. We look at ourselves and we see and feel and think. Droughts can come as swiftly as if by lightning within overcasts. But I see no point in ruining the day. I am but a rambler of thoughts as I brush my teeth and get ready for the night. Sleep can become elusive even when your mind is as tired as day. We wear on, hoping tomorrow can be another day although it presents us with the possibility of a similar one. We thrive and shelter ourselves while I, I must go back…
