Things I was doing last June:
I was feeding Little Big Andrei with chocolate chip cookies and dinners.
I danced Tinikling (the infamous bamboo dance)
during the Asian nite and I pulled Koen and Tibor to dance with me (to their panick =D).
I was marveling at the beauty of Bazarlaanstraat from one of Bazarlaan windows from the second floor.
I walked along the streets of Schev
in a bikini with Rommel and lazed around the beach with Irish, Rommel and the Pinoys.
Irish and I were taking turns in hosting dinners for Pinoys and Indonesians in our kitchen in Bazarlaan 25.
Irish, Rommel & I went to Hague5 with Asians & Africans after the presentation during the Asian Nite to play billiards.
Irish, Rommel and I were partying at the ISS Atrium with Agnes, dancing around as we celebrate with the school the International Nite.
I was helping out in the cookout for the International Lunch while the Pinoys were practicing Tinikling.
After recovering from my medically unexplainable illness, Rommel, Irish and I went out for dinner with Endah, Herni, and Adrianus in an Indonesian restaurant near Queen’s Garden.
I went to Leiden with the Pinoys where we shopped for cheap goodies till we dropped.
I had the time of my life in Neeltje Jans with Adrianus, Rommel, Irish, Dinah, Avi, Maya, Pem, Budi, and a host of other ISS people. It also marked the time when I discovered for my self my own sense of freedom…
Irish, Rommel & I biked off to Rosarium with Herni in tow.
Looking back now, June was the best month of my stay in The Hague. It was the time I discovered an angel has walked into my life in the person of Irish, that I had a family with my Kuya Rommel, and Nanay Naty, and of course, Bunsoy…
It was also the time I thanked God for sending Adrianus my way, for making him stay with me nothwithstanding my bad temper and all…
It was also a time for my healing, the beginning of an appreciation for sunsets, and how I felt my freedom for knowing these wonderful people…
