The mist slowly descends up here. Somehow, it gives the sourroundings an ethereal glow. A sort of unreality that makes me want to stay in, curl up under the covers, and stay in bed all day. Of course, this is not an easy decision to make. Particularly if the room assigned to you is in the attic, overlooking trees and the inside is as spacious as it can be. Who needs a hotel if you have this. I take another peek through the small triangular window and sees the colors change. Ahh, mist is starting to lift and sunlight reigns. It spreads a gently dazzling color of yellow over th leaves. From the neighbors, I hear Max, the playful rottweiler barking. I remembered, I haven’t seen that dog for two weeks now. Maybe he’s been placed in a harness. Never saw a more useless rottweiler than him. No fierceness evident in his body, just a playfulness that says, "I’m ready to be petted. Please give me food and love."
The Staffhouse is slowly starting to wake up. Sounds of people in the shower emanates from my partly opened door. Hmmm… Rapunzel didn’t have it this good. She was alone in the tower with only a comb for her hair.
I have Vertical Horizon playing here. Pitter patters of water coming from the different parts of this multi-level house. This house where you can choose to be lost with its size. And nobody will hear you. That is, except if you choose to walk up and down the stairs and the floorboards start creaking.
And the smell of freshly ground coffee wafts through the air. Okay. Time to hit the shower. I have to interview lots of engineers today. Let’s just hope I find gems for Stig and Mar today…
